Managing Director

As Managing Director of Customer Operations Performance Center International Inc. (COPC International Inc.) operations, Dr. Richard North is responsible for all facets of business development. He joined COPC Inc. in 2001 with an extensive background in Inbound Customer Service, Inbound Sales, Tech Support, Fulfillment and 3rd Party Outsourcing. His industry specialties include Customer Contact Center Operations and 3rd Party Outsourcing, which make him a natural match for COPC International Inc.

Richard's extensive contact center expertise across Europe brings added value to COPC International Inc.’s global performance standards initiatives. His hands-on experience running multi-site Client Logic contact centers throughout the UK drove COPC-2000® CSP Standard certification in three sites simultaneously. Prior to COPC International Inc., he served as Vice President Europe at Corporate Software and Managing Director of Merisel UK. At Wang (UK), he served as the Channel Marketing Manager. Richard traces the beginnings of his accomplishments to the time he spent working in marketing and sales positions at Burroughs. He has engineered success for nearly twenty years in the European contact center industry.

Formally trained in Europe, Richard earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. He earned his PhD at the University of Edinburgh (UK).
