Tim McGee

Vice President, Business Development
With over a dozen years’ experience in business and corporate development, Tim McGee offers proven expertise in generating revenue, saving costs and enhancing overall value. His impressive career has included management consulting for Fortune 500 and fast-rising technology, life sciences and service companies.
Prior to joining COPC Inc., McGee founded CBD Growth Partners, LLC, a provider of outsourced development services for emerging-growth companies. Previously, McGee served as Director of Business Development for Troux Technologies, a worldwide provider of IT governance software. During his tenure there, he helped build channel revenues across commercial and federal segments, including the company's first global reseller partnership.
McGee also worked with IBM’s Tivoli software Business Development group, where he was responsible for strategic alliances, licensing agreements and opportunity identification, as well as leading all of Tivoli’s acquisition activities. As a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, he facilitated several customer-relationship management and call center engagements within the high-tech and communications arenas. McGee began his career with Vector Securities International’s Corporate Finance team, and helped launch Vector Fund Management, LP, a later-stage venture-capital fund, for the healthcare-centered investment and merchant banking firm.
McGee earned his MBA in Finance, Marketing and Information Management at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investments and Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
