MUMBAI, India, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- TransWorks (www.transworks.com), one of India's leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) service provider today announced that it has become the First Company in the World to have its e-Services certified and its Outbound Telesales services conditionally certified to the COPC-2000® Standard (Release 3.2). This certification is applicable to TransWorks' Mumbai based Call Center which provides Voice and Web-based Customer Support Services to several Fortune 500 Companies.
The COPC-2000® Standard (www.copc.com) was written in 1995 by a core group of users of call center services and associated distribution fulfillment operations, including representatives from American Express, Dell Computer Corp., Microsoft, L.L.Bean, Bell South. The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria and framework were used as the basis for the standard.
