Inwoo Tech CRM Service Center is First Korean Outsourced Call Center to Achieve Certification to the COPC-2000® Standard

Amherst, NY — Customer Operations Performance Center Inc. (COPC) announces the certification of Inwoo Tech Inc., the first professional call center outsourcing company in Korea to be certified to the COPC-2000® Standard. This certification is for the Inwoo Tech CRM Service Center, providing call center services for the Microsoft Technical Support Center.

COPC-2000® Standard is a world-class benchmark of productivity, efficiency and cost-effectiveness for customer contact operations ensuring Contact Center Excellence for in-house as well as outsourced call centers worldwide. The COPC-2000® Standard is the first and only certification process designed specifically for the needs of the Contact Center space, as opposed to standards developed for the manufacturing sector.

As the call center market in Korea rapidly expands, the investment in infrastructure and people also continues to increase. A major issue in the industry has been the lack of a specific standard and methodology for effective call center systems in this fast growing market. Inwoo’s COPC Certification is expected to encourage other call centers to adopt the COPC-2000® Standard as the benchmark to manage the service, quality and costs of call centers worldwide. In fact, several other call centers are pursuing COPC-2000® Standard Certification in Korea.
